I should be near Bristol around the 21st, so if poss I'd love to pop in to the pub and see you all. My not too fit M+D will be minding the kids for me so I can't stay long, but it would be nice to see you!

This was supposed to be from a CO; Why do we keep going back to call on people who don't want to hear our message?Because every time we 'shake the dust from our feet' it leaves an ever increasing pile of dust at their gate for the angels to see. Let's not forget the U.N. scandal...
by meat pie ini'm not trying to hijack anything, but i just thought it was worth drawing any visitors-to-the-board's attention to the u.n.scandal.so they cannot write off the paedophile issue as 'human failing', and realise that there is something deeply wrong here.
i hope my point is getting across here, i am not trying to minimise the paedophile issue at all, it is truly horrendous!
and my heart goes out to all victims.i believe any jws whose blind faith in the gb might have been tweaked lately should also know the truth about the u.n. thing, that's all.thanks.

i know the wtbts are always beating the drum about not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together as some have the custom, but do they really want jws actually talking with one another when they arent around to monitor the conversation?.
if you think about it, jws would appear to have had their opportunities for social intercourse severely curtailed.

Good post Eman, also , at least at Perth Assembly, the whole thing is broadcast on a radio channel'so the brothers working as attendants can listen in', more like, so many can sit in their cars and 'listen', because it's too cold and uncomfortable in the stadium and then they can make a quick gettaway! Even less mixing.

by ballistic ini had an idea that i could build a uk map of everyones location which would show you instantly who is in your area from jwd.. (it might be an idea to do a seperate us one aswell but i'll wait and see if this one takes off first, or if anyone from the us wants to volunteer to do that one).
(and australia but you are all in the same backyard anyway - literally!!!).
anyway, all you have to do is post or email me your username and town and i will draw you on the map above which will change gradually to include everyone!.

Hey BlackCat, I have been to Crook ( yes you lot that is a real place)KH, when visiting relatives, and I went awol and went to Newcastle arena instead of Perth for the district convention, told others how much better it was and nearly started a mass exodus.We had a talk about not going to other assemblies without permission! Info about politics/df'ing please
by meat pie ini seem to remember hearing from the platform that if a jw was involved in politics that was tantamount to da'ing, therefore df'ing.
i am thinking of going to a political meeting next week at the same time, almost same place as the book study, (he he)am i correct in thinking there is some info somewhere that the wts had to back down on the first premise?
i would be very glad if someone could point me in the right direction as i hope to bring the subject up in a future conversation with jws, and expect a negative response and i would love to have something to show them that proved the hypocrisy.

This is weird. Many years ago, before I was a JW I dreamt is saw my dead Grandfather walking along a street I knew, I said something like ' you're dead, so what happens?' he replied something to the effect that the JWs were right about what happens.This was very weird when you consider what JWs believe. Anyway when I started studying with JWs I did think it might be some kind of 'sign' or something.I forgot to take into account that my GF was actually a very nasty piece of work, lazy, violent to wife and kids, pervert, probable pedophile, practiser of incest etc. I should have seen it a sign 'don't go there!'
